This combination bit offers more bend than a traditional combination.  Instead of direct pressure, it rolls across the nose. It  has a shorter shank with a gag cheek piece. Great for a younger or lighter mouthed horse. 

Increased gag action makes this lifter less intimidating while also still providing enough leverage to increase shoulder control and balance. The twisted wire dogbone mouthpiece offers additional leverage to the corners of the mouth to provide a light, responsive feel so the rider can reframe and rebalance a horse who tends to lean on the bridle. Three piece bits are great options for the rider who wants to avoid the potential of the nutcracker effect.
